The Birth of Jesus

Luke 2, 1-7

THE CEASAR WANTS ALL PEOPLE WHO PAY TAXES TO WRITE THEIR NAMES ON A LIST.

MARY AN JOSEPH START WALKING TO BETHLEHEM.

MARY AND JOSEPH WANT TO STAY SOMEWHERE. THEY KNOCK ON MANY DOORS. EVEN THOUGH MARY IS PREGANT, THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THEM!

THEY FIND A STABLE AND WALK INTO IT.

MARY REALISES: THE TIME HAS COME TO HAVE HER BABY. HER SON GETS BORN! MARY IS EXHAUSTED.

MARY LAYS THE BABY IN A BOX WHERE CATTLE ARE FED. SHE WRAPS HIM WITH CLOTHS.

JESUS WAS BORN IN A STABLE AND WAS LAID IN A MANGER. EVERYTHING WAS VERY SIMPLE AND MODEST.

THAT SAME NIGHT THE BABY GETS BORN, SOME SHEPHERDS ARE IN THE FIELDS WATCHING THEIR SHEEP.

SUDDENLY THEY SEE A BRIGHT LIGHT. THEY ARE VERY AFRAID. AN ANGEL COMES TO THEM.

THE ANGEL SAYS: DON`T BE AFRAID! I AM TELLING YOU GOOD NEWS! YOUR SAVIOUR IS BORN!“

„THIS IS HOW YOU WILL KNOW HIM: YOU WILL FIND A BABY LYING IN A MANGER (FEEDING BOX), WRAPPED IN CLOTH!“

A VERY LARGE GROUP OF ANGELS JOIN THE FIRST ANGEL. THEY SAY: „PEACE TO YOU! GOD LOVES THE PEOPLE!“

THE ANGELS LEAVE. THE SHEPHERDS QUICKLY GO TO BETHLEHEM.

THE SHEPHERDS FIND THE BABY IN THE MANGER. THEY ARE VERY HAPPY. MARY AND JOSEPH ARE ALSO VERY HAPPY.

THE SHEPHERDS TELL MARY WHAT THE ANGEL SAID TO THEM. MARY IS ASTONISHED AND CONTINUES TO THINK ABOUT THAT.

THE SHEPHERDS LEAVE. THEY PREAISE GOD AND ARE VERY HAPPY.
